1951 Mercury
1951 Mercury: A beautiful example, considered almost a cult collector car of the 50's. 1949 through 1951 Mercury's were sought after during the late 50's and early 60's as THE car to own, maybe because of James Dean in the movie, Rebel Without a Cause. One of the nicest original cars that the Antique Auto Shop has restored in many years. While this "51" Mercury was receiving a full restoration, we only discovered small, nickel sized rust holes on the inner rocker! Completely finished inside and out including interior, gauges, all chrome, engine compartment and wiring. The car is totally restored original, except for dual exhaust as the customer wanted. The flawless black finish helped this car win both 1st Junior and Senior awards at AACA sponsored meets.
